Hi, I'm Victoria, the maker, dreamer, marketing manager, website designer, and slightly candle-obsessed person behind this brand. I started VESNA because I genuinely couldn't find candles that felt good in every sense (good for my home, good for my wellbeing, and good for the planet). So I made my own. Every product is created with real care and intention, and I hope you can feel that when it arrives at your door.
We source carefully and intentionally. All of our ingredients are chosen for their purity, sustainability, and minimal environmental impact. We prioritise natural, non-toxic, and eco-friendly materials and work with suppliers who share those values. We'd rather take our time finding the right ingredient than cut corners for the sake of cost.
Most conventional candles are made from paraffin wax — a petroleum by-product — and scented with synthetic fragrances that can release harmful chemicals into your home. Ours are made from natural, sustainable coconut wax and fragranced only with essential oils, which are safe for you and the planet.
And, our plantable candles go one step further: instead of ending up in landfill, they give something back, as the packaging can grow into wildflowers that support local pollinators and bring a little beauty into the world.
Yes — we've thought carefully about packaging too, because what's the point of an eco-conscious candle wrapped in layers of plastic? Our packaging is plastic-free, and either recyclable (postal boxes, box seal, tissue paper, diffuser boxes), biodegradable (wax melt packets, packaging peanuts) or plantable (candle boxes), and we're always looking for ways to reduce waste even further.
Yes! At the moment, all of our stockists are based in the Bristol area, but we are working on growing our stockist network further soon.
Currently you will be able to find us here:
The Hatch (Cafe), Staple Hill: Plantable candles
Manu Botanicals (Hair salon), Staple Hill: Plantable candles, wax melts
Blaze, Bristol: Wax melts
Glass Designs & Gallery: Plantable candles, wax melts
Honestly? It's for anyone who wants their home to feel like a peaceful sanctuary, natural, and free from toxins.
But if you're a woman juggling a busy life who craves a little stillness after a stressful day at work, who cares about what you bring into your home and what impact it has on the planet — this was really made with you in mind.
